Catching Fireflies at a Country House

Comments - Lovely scene of a favorite summer pastime, catching fireflies. The beauty carries a small insect cage, the handle of her fan caught between her teeth, while the young girl next to her captures a firefly against the ground with her fan. Insects glow in the evening sky beneath the willow branches. A charming design.
