Comments - Striking, somewhat surreal contemporary design of a woman walking along the bare branch of a tree during a lunar eclipse. The moon softly shaded with just a crescent of light still showing above the pines below. From a limited edition of 100, published by Adachi (not individually numbered), with publisher and edition size in left margin. Comes with a brief biography and notes by the artist in Japanese. It states that this is the first time Fukui has produced a print using the division of labor between the painter, carver, and printer. A great design, beautifully printed.
