He reacts quickly as an attacker grabs the reins of his horse, raising his sword overhead, ready to bring it down on his adversary. Other enemies run up from left, waving a sword and naginata. A bold design with the dynamic horse and struggling samurai taking center stage, the colorful figures surrounded by a beautiful snowy landscape. A great image with the peaceful setting belying the drama of the attack. A fine subject for a samurai enthusiast.
