Minamoto no Yoritomo Fighting Enemies Bravely - Terrific scene of the 12th century warrior and later shogun Minamoto no Yoritomo encountering enemies while on horseback in winter. He reacts quickly as an attacker grabs the reins of his horse, raising his sword overhead, ready to bring it down on his adversary. Other enemies run up from left, waving a sword and naginata. A bold design with the dynamic horse and struggling samurai taking center stage, the colorful figures surrounded by a beautiful snowy landscape. A great image with the peaceful setting belying the drama of the attack. A fine subject for a samurai enthusiast.
