A True View of Kasumigaseki, 1854 - Handsome panoramic view of Kasumigaseki in Edo, the streets lined with daimyo's mansions. A daimyo's procession approaches at lower left, led by yakko or footmen carrying trunks and standard bearers. At lower right, a palanquin passes by an ornate entrance gate. Clouds drift across the sky, with trees rising above the rooftops in the distance. Nice architectural detail.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Two separate panels. Losses at corners, a few holes, repaired. Creasing throughout, staining. Please see photos for details.
