Yamabuki and Iris, 1847 - 1852 - Charming portrait of a beauty strolling through a garden in summer. She looks back over her shoulder with a smile as she lefts the edge of her kimono, which feature blue strips and ducks. Behind her, a low bamboo fence enclosed yamabuki or yellow mountain roses and blossoming irises. The first time we've seen a design from this series.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/4"

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Small losses, wormholes, most repaired. Wrinkling throughout, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
