Harimaze are woodblock prints featuring multiple small scenes, originally intended to be cut apart and pasted into albums or applied to screens. These prints come from a series titled "Cartoons by Kyosai." Very much in his style, they include humorous illustrations rarely seen in harimaze prints. An intriguing group of images.
