At right, a beauty holds up a painting of two cranes, a pine, and a setting sun that she has just finished. A girl kneels at her side, mixing pigment in a bowl, with other art supplies spread out before her. At left, a child stands on a bridge leading to another room where a beauty plays koto, pointing happily as the koi fish bobbing in the water below. The home overlooks a beautiful garden with a pond, framed by a blossoming plum tree. Includes embossing on the background of the painting. A beautiful scene with wonderful color and detail in the elegant fabrics and interior setting.
