A geisha practicing the shamisen, a beauty in her private quarters, an entertainer crossing the river on a ferry--these charming scenes wonderfully capture life in Japan throughout the ages. Beautifully printed, many of the images feature deluxe techniques such as delicate embossing or burnishing, along with soft bokashi shading. A delightful series, great for collecting or display.
