Kinryuzan Kannon Temple in Asakusa, circa 1839 - 1842 - Attractive view of Kinryuzan Kannon Temple in Asakusa, the grounds crowded with visitors. Tea stalls flank the central pathway leading to the great entrance gate, where a large paper lantern hangs in the doorway. The pagoda spire towers above the trees at right, with clouds drifting across the sky below. A classic Hiroshige design, nicely composed.
