Beauty Trimming a Lamp

Comments - Charming scene of a beauty trimming a lamp, smiling as she works. Her brown print outer robe trails on the floor behind her, worn over a red floral kimono and red under robe. Softly shaded clouds run across the top and bottom of the page, with an inset at upper right depicting a tree and yellow cloud. The white area across the center features faintly embossed Genji symbols and hollyhock leaves. The first time we've seen this subject.
