Courtesans in a Room with Door-Panel Painting of Mount Fuji

Comments - Charming scene of two courtesans relaxing in a room with panels depicting the snow-capped peak of Mt. Fuji. The beauty at right sits at a low tables with and ink stone, watcher pitcher, and a stack of books, a brush in her hand. A container at far right holds an exotic ostrich feather. Softly shaded pink clouds drift across the top of the page. A lovely Edo era design.
