Farmer and Bamboo Pillar Print - Handsome black and white pillar print depicting a farmer reaching up to pull over a stalk of bamboo, his other hand resting atop a hoe. He wears a straw raincoat over a robe and tall black boots, his hat trimmed with a ruffle around the edge. Snow falls heavily through the night sky. A striking early Edo design.

Condition - This print with nice detail as shown. Backed with paper. Horizontal folds. Large U-shaped tear, large loss, a few small holes, repaired. slight creasing and curling. Please see photos for details.
