The Syllable Ni: Fuji from Ohashi and Ichikawa Danjuro VIII as the Thief Jiraiya, Actually Ogata Hiroyuki, 1852 - Handsome kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Danjuro VIII as the thief Jiraiya, who is actually Ogata Hiroyuki in disguise. He wears a black kimono with an unusual design of insects with fuzzy antennas over a brocade robe and suit of armor, his short hair sticking out atop his head with the longer locks pulled back into a ponytail. The inset above depicts a view of Mt. Fuji from beneath the Ohashi Bridge. A rarely seen Kuniyoshi series.
