Chinese Peony and Bee

Kyoto Hanga-in - Founded in 1935, Kyoto Hanga-in produced high quality reprints of works by classic ukiyo-e artists like Hiroshige, Hokusai, Harunobu, Utamaro, and Sharaku, along with shin-hanga prints by artists such as Tsuchiya Koitsu, Bakufu Ohno, and Gihachiro Okuyama.

Comments - Beautiful image of a bee hovering in the blue sky above pink and orange peony blossoms. The petals are softly shaded above a tangle of leaves, with the background shaded from blue to brown. The first time we've offered this attractive shin-hanga design.
