Comments - Charming triptych depicting Daikoku and Ebisu, two of Japan's famous Seven Lucky Gods. Daikoku sits at left, leaning against his bag of never-ending treasure and shaking his magic mallet overhead as he grins happily. At right, Ebisu leans over an abacus atop a stack of open books, a brush caught between his teeth as he concentrates. His basket of fish and a fishing pole are shown beside him, and a young woman kneels at his side, giggling into her red kimono sleeve. Nicely drawn with lively calligraphic line.
