Comments - Dramatic kabuki scene from the play "Konoshita Kage Masago no Datezome" of Sutewakamaru grimacing with rage as he looks up, his hair sticking out wildly around his face. He has a black basket trunk tied over his shoulders with rope, his white kimono decorated with scroll. At inset at upper right depicts the young boy Maruwaka, pointing his finger out of the inset with an alarmed expression. From left, the actors are Nakamura Fukusuke I and Nakamura Kamezo I. Great expressive figures, detailed with embossing on the white areas of the kimono and handsome woodgrain impression on the softly shaded night sky.
