Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of the samurai Minamoto no Yoshitsune warrior looking over his shoulder with a sober, slightly wary, expression. He wears a fine robe shaded from blue to green over his armor, his hands resting atop a folded fan. His hair is tied back into a thick topknot, and a sash with the golden paulownia crest of the Minamoto Clan encircles his head. Beautiful color and detail in the elegant robe, and fine line work in the hair. An expressive image.
