Daigo Pagoda (Summer)

Comments - From the Uchida Publisher Archives - We Terrific view of the five-story pagoda at Daigoji or Daigo Temple in Kyoto, which was built in 951. The tower rises gracefully above the lush green summer foliage, the red color contrasting beautifully with the rich green shades of the surrounding trees and grass. Wonderful architectural detail and color. A lovely design, the spire marvelously framed by tall pines on either side. Published by Uchida.
