Series; Elegant Style (Keigoto)

Elegant Style (Keigoto) - Handsome design from a series of five prints featuring two kabuki actors in each print. The series title "keigoto" (elegant style) refers to a dance performance in a Noh, kabuki, or bunraku play. The expressive figures are nicely detailed, set against a plain background, often with a just a couple objects to suggest a setting. Each text block featuring the series title is surrounded with a different flowers. The series title is sometimes translated at "Kabuki Dances." The first time we've seen prints from this attractive series.
