The Storehouse of Loyal Retainers - Handsome design from a rare Hiroshige series of "The Storehouse of Loyal Retainers" (Chushingura,) the famous story of the 47 ronin. The series has an unusual format of three vertical subjects on a single horizontal oban page. The designs in include expressive figures in nicely detailed settings. The first time we've seen prints from this series.
