Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan as Zenroku, grinning rather evilly as he looks over his shoulder. He wears a blue checked kimono with a tie-dyed border, tied with a striped obi. At upper left, a gun hangs on the wall beside and hat and straw raincoat, an unusual detail. A nice large expressive figure.
