Nakamura Fukusuke as a Traveling Samurai

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of Nakamura Fukusuke as a samurai taking a break while traveling. He lifts his black lacquer hat high above his head as he looks over his shoulder with an angry frown, wearing a red vest over a black and print kimono tucked into checked pants and armor. The tail of a horse can be seen at right, with wooden pilings and straw bales reinforcing the shore behind him, water rushing in the distance. A nicely detailed setting.
