Segawa Senjo as a Beauty and Sawamura Gennosuke as Izutsuya Denbei

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a beauty and Izutsuya Denbei facing off for martial arts practice with wooden swords. The beauty stares at her companion with an angry expression, her mouth slightly agape as she holds her weapon over her shoulder with both hands. Denbei glares back at her, wearing a gray dotted coat over a striped kimono lined with a print of the circular crest that appears on his shoulders and sleeves. From left, the actors are Segawa Senjo and Sawamura Gennosuke. Nice expressive figures.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 19 1/8"
