Spring Games, 1887 - Charming illustration of girls playing in early springtime, the plum tree next to the house covered with pink and red blossoms and buds. At left, three girls play a game of battledore, the feathered shuttlecock hovering in the air above. Two more children bounce a ball on the verandah at right, while another watches, a puppy wearing a ruffled red collar perched on her shoulder. Beautiful detail and patterning in the colorful kimono, with burnishing in the black robe at right. An attractive and lighthearted image.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Three separate panels. Diagonal and vertical wrinkles. Creasing at edges, staining. Please see photos for details.
