Kuniyoshi Prints - One of the great masters of ukiyo-e woodblocks, Kuniyoshi is perhaps best known for his warrior prints, but he worked in a range of subjects. In addition to dramatic samurai and battle scenes, he also created kabuki, beauty, landscape, and comic designs, each expertly drawn and composed. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a classic woodblock by this great Edo era artist at a low opening bid price.

Rice Fields outside Yoshiwara, circa 1833 - Charming view of a beauty wearing a light green kimono patterned with white dots and birds in flight, with a red floral pattern across the shoulders. A fan-shaped inset above depicts the rice fields outside the Yoshiwara in aizuri-e or blue only. A rare Kuniyoshi beauty series that is not listed in Robinson's book "Kuniyoshi."
