Series; To senkin otoko kagami
Katsufudo Yohei, 1859 - Handsome kabuki portrait of an otokodate or street knight gripping the sheath of his sword with one hand as he looks up over his shoulder. He wears a striking brown kimono patterned with Buddhist imagery, including a sword and flames, a golden cord, and a prayer wheel. One sleeve of his kimono is pushed down to reveal a red tie-dyed under robe, and he has a white cloth wrapped about his neck. A nice expressive figure.
