Comments - Lovely kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty wearing a kimono bordered with flowering plum branches, tied with a brocade obi. She looks over her shoulder with her mouth slightly open, holding her sleeve to her chin. Her hair is pulled back into a large smooth bun adorned with a tortoiseshell comb and hairpins. A beautiful Edo era kakemono design, with graceful line work and fine detail, the figure beautifully fitting the vertical format. A nice choice for display.
