Greetings

Series; Ladies' Etiquette Pictures

Greetings - Lovely triptych of a young woman paying a formal visit to an upper-class beauty. She bows respectfully before her hostess, who kneels on a cushion smiling with pleasure, an attendant on either side. A folding screen covered with a view of a flowing stream bordered with flowering bush clover provides a beautiful backdrop for the women. Wonderful detail in the elegant fabrics and interior furnishings, with burnishing in the black robe and fine embossing on the white kimono collars and trim. A classic Chikanobu beauty subject.
