Comments - Expressive kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Kodanji IV in a scene from "Katakiuchi Uwasa no Furuichi." He looks up with an angry grimace as he kneels beside a sliding panel with a striking landscape of the ocean framed by a rugged cliff. A handsome design with a nicely detailed interior setting.
