Eight Famous Views

Comments - Charming scene of beauties in an interior on a winter day. In the center, a beauty kneeling beside a hibachi smiles as she looks up at her companion, a cup of sake in her hand. The woman at right relaxes with her elbow on the frame of an open window as she takes a toothpick from her mouth, standing in the hallway with her sandals kicked off on the floor nearby. At left, a young woman plays the shamisen. Just below her, a red lacquer tray on the floor holds an elegant black lacquer container and blue and white bowl. The first time we've seen this attractive design.
