Comments - Handsome triptych of the famous Seven Lucky Gods riding in a ferry with one of them serving as a boatman in the stern. Several animals associated with the gods sit in the front of the ship, including a crane, a deer, a turtle with a mossy shell and tail, a red snapper, and a white rat. An elegant pavilion awaits them on the far shore, which upon closer inspection is composed of the takaramono or precious things, with a magic hat providing a roof, supported by a key and flanked by scrolls and coral branches. The yellow dock is shaped like Daikoku's magic mallet. An attractive and creative design, drawn with very loose, painterly strokes. Detailed with delicate cloth embossing in the boatman's white robe.
