Uedo Mokuhanga printing - This print is from a special edition printing of shin-hanga landscape masterworks from the artists Hasui and Koitsu printed by the publisher Uedo Mokuhanga. In the early 1960s Uedo Mokuhanga re-released a set of twenty-seven famous shin-hanga landscape prints. These beautiful designs were printed from the original blocks and are a nice opportunity to collect some of the most stunning landscapes of the shin-hanga period.

Fuji from Lake Sai, 1938 - Fantastic early morning view of Mt. Fuji, the sky bathed with color as the sun rises. The lake below is a soft muted green, the foliage on the opposite shore rendered in soft blues, a lovely contrast to the more vivid colors of the sky. A handsome view framed by a craggy pine tree with clouds drifting past the mountain's peak.
