Ryogoku Bridge - Lovely portrait of a beauty untying her obi as she prepares to retire for the evening. She smiles as she reaches around her back with both hands to grasp the green print sash, which reverses to yellow. She wears a brown and white checked kimono over a red under robe, a yellow garment and a narrow red sash on the floor nearby. An inset at upper left shows a view of Ryogoku Bridge at night with a full moon glowing above. An attractive design. We've never come across this subject before.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 13 1/2" x 8 7/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight thinning at corner, a couple small holes, repaired. Slight toning, creasing, and soiling, a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
