Eight Views of Omi - The famous "Eight Views of Omi" was a popular subject for many Edo era artists. Depicting the lovely scenery of Lake Biwa and the surrounding area in Omi Province, the series includes eight traditional landscape subjects in varying weather and seasons. This horizontal yotsugiri or quarter oban size series is rarely seen, and makes an interesting complement to Hiroshige's oban format series of the same theme.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Most prints have a few holes or small losses at edges, repaired. Toning, soiling, rubbing, and creasing. A few prints have stains. Please see photos for details.
