Comments - Lovely triptych of the royal court enjoying a springtime view of the gardens from an open pavilion at the temporary Imperial Palace. Elegantly dressed beauties kneel before the Emperor and Empress, who are seated on a platform at right. Other women enjoy the gorgeous blooms in the garden, strolling among flowering trees and purple iris bordering a pond. A charming spring image with rich jewel-tone color and embossing in the white kimono trim. The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston has this image in its collection.

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 27 3/4" + top margin as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. Wormhole, a couple small tears at edge, repaired. Creasing, slight soiling, a few stains, slight rubbing at edges Please see photos for details. Good overall.
