Series; Famous Places in the Eastern Capital

Goten-yama - Handsome illustration of Goten-yama or Goten Hill in Edo in springtime, the cherry trees covered with pink and white blossoms. Visitors and picnickers enjoy the view from the hill top, with the roofs of the city spreading out below and ships just offshore. An attractive design we've never come across before.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 5 7/8" x 8 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few small holes, repaired. Slight creasing, a few marks. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
