Noh Hanga - Terrific design from a series titled "Noh Hanga" or "Noh Prints" by artist Hideki Hanabusa. His wonderful images feature large characters from a variety of popular Noh plays, beautifully drawn, with highly expressive masks and elegant costumes. Some of these lovely scenes include shimmering mica accents or backgrounds, and all have soft painterly color. A terrific choice for a collector interested in classic Noh theater, these woodblocks would make fantastic framed displays.
