Original Mokuchu Urushibara (1888 - 1953) Japanese Woodblock Print
Rearing Horse (left)

Comments - Wonderful design from a series of horse prints by Mokuchu Urushibara. These Zen style horses are beautifully drawn with calligraphic line work similar to traditional sumi ink paintings. A classic Japanese subject rendered in bold black, crisp white, and soft tones of gray. A great choice for display.
