Series; Portraits of Sansho

Portraits of Sansho - Handsome design from a series by Toshihide depicting Ichikawa Danjuro IX, one of the most popular and successful kabuki actors of the Meiji era. A rarely seen series and a great choice for a kabuki enthusiast.

Special detail - Burnishing in the black lacquer hat.
