Comments - Terrific kabuki triptych of two tattooed heroes from the Suikoden battling an iron club and a wooden pole in a snowy landscape. At left, the "Flower Priest" Rochishin grips an iron club with both hands, the tassels of the prayer beads draped around his body flying. His tattoo of flowering cherry trees covers his entire body. At right, Kumonryu Shishin, whose nickname is "Nine Tattooed Dragons," draws back his own weapon, his long black hair flowing around his face, his tattoo visible on his back and arms. Amazing color and detail in this fantastic design, with an attractive setting of bright red temple buildings in a snowy landscape, and burnishing in the black iron club and black priest's robe. A dynamic composition adds to the drama. An outstanding choice for a collector interested in tattoo prints.
