Sawamura Gen'nosuke I as Inanoya Hanjuro, 1810 - Great kabuki portrait of Sawamura Gen'nosuke I as Inanoya Hanjuro, pausing to fasten a cloth around his head while traveling. He stares ahead with an angry smirk, wearing a purple and lavender butterfly print kimono over a red under robe, a single sword tucked under his black obi. Fields spread into the distance behind him, with stacks of grain at left. A handsome design, detailed with embossing on the swirling lines on the kimono.
