Decorative Pillar Prints - Charming pillar print from a series by Takeuchi Hidetaka, published by Uchida in 1933. These lovely woodblocks primarily feature flowers, along with traditional imagery such as drums, fans, umbrellas, and waterwheels. Beautifully drawn with graceful line work, many include deluxe treatments such as silver or gold mica, embossing, and fine bokashi shading. A wonderful example of modern Japanese design, following in the Rimpa tradition of Kamisaka Sekka. An attractive choice for display, either singly or in groups.
