The Faithful Hearts - The companion to Kuniyoshi's "Faithful Samurai", the "Faithful Hearts" details the outstanding loyalty and honor of the families and friends of the 47 Ronin. Even though they weren't part of the attack against Moronao, the wives, daughters, and servants of the Ronin were drawn into drama as well. This series celebrates the sacrifice, determination, and enduring devotion of those the Ronin left behind. A fantastic series and a real complement to Kuniyoshi's "Faithful Samurai". s alike. Few other print makers ever matched Kuniyoshi's detail and artistry.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with old ppaer. Toned as shown. Some small spots and stains. A few small holes repaired when backed. Some rubbing and soiling. Please see photos for details.
