Capturing Prisoners during the Sino-Japanese War

Comments - Dramatic illustration from the Sino-Japanese War of Imperial Army soldiers capturing Chinese troops during a battle. At right, an officer kneels atop an enemy's back, forcing his hand behind his back as he prepares to tie him up. Other captives are roped to a tree at left as the soldiers rush the gate of a fortress at right. The Chinese stampede in a group at right, running from their attackers, a gray horse rearing from the shells exploding. A very detailed scene capturing the intensity of the fighting at close range. Includes burnishing in some of the black uniforms.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 27 7/8" + margins as shown
