Views of Famous Places in Edo - Published between 1861 and 1864, Hiroshige II's "Views of Famous Places in Edo" depicts well-known locations around the city, ranging from shrines and temples to bustling streets and scenic beauty spots. Popular seasonal activities are included, too, such as watching fireworks over Ryogoku Bridge or enjoying the plum or cherry blossoms. A handsome series, nicely detailed with attractive color.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous mounting. Horizontal centerfold. Small losses at right corners, repaired. Toning, slight soiling and creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
