Onoe Kikugoro V as Yamamoto Kansuke

Comments - Lively kabuki portrait of Onoe Kikugoro V as Yamamoto Kansuke, a brilliant military strategist and one of Takeda Shingen's trusted generals. He appears in battle, using his pole arm to knock down an opponent at lower right. He wears a fine suit of armor over a green brocade kimono, a white sash tied around his shaved head. A nice large figure set off by a deep red background.
