Beauty Taking an Autumn Stroll

Comments - Charming portrait of a beauty enjoying a stroll in autumn, pausing to look up as colorful maple leaves fall through the sky around her. She wears a plum colored kimono with a design of a bridge and leafy trees over a red under robe with a blue collar, tied with a black brocade obi with flowers and scrolling leaf shapes. Her hair is pulled back into a large loop, adorned with a single tortoiseshell ornament, and she holds a blue folding fan behind her head. Beautifully detailed with embossing in the blue collar and the narrow blue sash tied around her waist.

Artist - Toyokuni I (1769 - 1825)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 9 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Losses and wormholes, repaired from front and back. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
