An Album of Insect Pictures (Churui gafu), 1910

An Album of Insect Pictures - In 1910, Unsodo published "An Album of Insect Pictures" (Churui gafu) featuring woodblock prints by Morimoto Tokaku. These lovely designs feature nicely detailed insects in their natural habitats, among plants and flowers. The Sackler-Freer Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution has this volume in their collection. A great choice for display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two separate panels. Some prints have slight toning or a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Generally in good to nice condition overall.
