Obvious Love

Series; Anthology of Poems: The Love Section

Obvious Love - Beautiful image of a young woman in love, no longer able to hide her feelings, hence the title of the print. She adjusts a hairpin, her tie-dyed cotton kimono loosely wrapped about her, falling open at her chest. Beautifully drawn with delicate fine line work in the face and hair, and a soft color palette enhanced by a distressed mica background. A lovely print.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 15" x 9 5/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants at edges. Please see photos for details. Very nice overall.
