Seven-faced God Appearing

Series; Abridged Biography of Koso

Seven-faced God Appearing - Terrific design of the fantastic seven-faced god appearing in the form of a dragon while the priest Nichiren (Koso) was conducting services Minobu Mountain. The dragon appears in a dark cloud, emerging from the body of the kneeling woman who had disturbed Nichiren's devotions. The crowd of worshippers is startled by the event, cowering and pointing with mouths agape. Beautiful detail in the intricate scales of the dragon and the temple setting.
